Welcome to Greg Cooley Wines. We’re one of the smaller, boutique wine producers here in Clare and proudly family owned and operated. Our wines are designed with food, family and friends in mind and like Greg, have an unerring knack for delighting and surprising the audience.
In 2002 we released our first wine and since then the range has grown significantly both in style and appeal. We focus on key Clare varieties of Riesling, Shiraz and Cabernet and many of our wines are a mix of reserve or blended wines of each of these varieties.
Our grapes are sourced from a range of local growers from both the Clare Valley and Adelaide Hills wine regions and across the board they are easy drinking wines approachable in youth yet delightful with age.
By choice our wines are sold direct to consumer only and the best way to sum up our wines is to say that while we make a lot of wines, we don’t make a lot of wine. Our annual total production is generally a mere 2,500 cases and for some wines as little as 100 dozen might be made.
Each of Greg’s wines are named after people who’ve been of influence to him over the years and their influence is as varied as the wine styles. From South Australian author Monica Mc Inerney to his ex-wife Laura, or greyhound vet Graham Beh, they each have a story and Greg is only too happy to share this with you and his journey thus far as a winemaker.

WHITES: Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Reserve Chardonnay, Rose
REDS: Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, Merlot Cabernet-Franc, GSM, Grenache, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon
FORTIFIEDS: Muscat, Fortified Shiraz (VP)
